Casting Kids at Metrodome
Minneapolis, MN - May 2, 2004

The Minnesota State Casting Kids Champion's Lucas Wayne Lindgren, and Josh Erickson, casted out the first pitch of the Minnesota Twins Baseball game at the Metrodome on Sunday, May 2nd. Lucas and Josh used the same rods that won them the state Casting Kids finals. Each went to the pitcher's mound and sucessfully completed casting the ball to the catchers mit. Before the game on the Metrodome plaza, four Minnesota Bass Federation clubs held Casting Kids competitions: Gopher Bassmasters, Lakes Area Bassmasters, River Rat Bassmasters, and Reel Bassmasters. Four kids from each age group qualified that day for the 2005 State Casting Kids championship
